I have always painted abstractions exclusively with acrylic or oil paints. However, colour can be expressed in other ways than with fine art paints. I work with textiles on a daily basis, so I collect shades of beige and skin tones. The variety of fabric materials added texture to the painting. I finished the unification with gouache. There are a lot of hidden details that are not noticeable at first glance and therefore not distracting either.
The nude colour for me means femininity, naturalness and purity. That’s why the painting is called women, because I attribute these aspects to women.
